About Me

My name is Bailey Burand and I am one of the theatre arts teachers at Mallard Creek High School School. I received my degree in Theatre Education from Winthrop University and have a great deal of experience acting, designing, directing, stage managing, and teaching in the world of theatre. Although one of my favorite places to be is center stage, my passion is teaching. I love igniting students' creativity and imagination. I firmly believe theatre education is a gateway for success in many other subject areas and am very excited to see the creativity of the students flourish this year at Mallard Creek.
