Meet Mrs. Teal
Hi!! My name is Kerrie Teal and this is my twenty-third year as a classroom teacher and my sixteenth year at Sharon Elementary. I am so excited for the school year to begin.
I was born on Long Island, NY and then moved south when my family moved us to the Outer Banks, NC when I was in the seventh grade. I graduated from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) in 2000.
My husband Ben and I have two sons ages 13 and almost 8. We also have a Chihuahua named Paco. Our family lives in Kannapolis so I do commute but have been making this drive the past 13 years. Sharon School is worth the drive! :) My oldest, Noah, graduated from Sharon in 2020 and now is a seventh grader. My youngest, Asher, will be entering second grade.
Fun Info about Mrs. Teal:
I love to run and workout.
The beach is my happy place!
I can't live without at least 2 cups of coffee in the morning.
I love sports, especially NASCAR and baseball!!! In NASCAR, I'm a huge Chase Elliott fan. Some of my other favorite teams are: Yankees, ECU Pirates, Canes, and Dolphins
Favorite Color: Purple
Some of my hobbies: spending time with my family/friends/church, running/working out, reading, watching TV shows/sports, etc.
