About Me
My name is Haviland Murphy. I am originally from a small town in the mountains of Northern California near Yosemite National Park.
I received my bachelor’s in communication from University of Portland in 2022. After a short stint as a journalist, I changed course and began pursuing a career in teaching.
I received my Graduate Certificate in Teaching from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2024 and my master’s in elementary education in 2026.
In my free time I enjoy reading, taking care of my (many) plants, painting, spending time with my family, and playing with my dog, Boone.
