About me

Welcome! My name is Amy Judd and I am a fourth grade teacher at Highland Creek Elementary. This will be my sixth year at Highland Creek teaching fourth grade, and my fifteenth year teaching overall. I have taught third and second grade, and a 2/3 multi-age classroom. Teaching nine and ten year olds can be exhausting, but it is so much fun and worth every minute!

In 2014, my family and I relocated from Seattle, Washington to Charlotte. My husband Charlie and I are originally from the east coast (I am from Massachusetts and he is from West Virginia), so we were ready to move back and get closer to family. We also have a thirteen year old son named Emery, who will attend eighth grade at Northwest School of the Arts. We also have a dog named Onyx.
