WELCOME!

I am thrilled to support students and families here at Governors' Village STEM Academy. I have taught and facilitated teams in the primary grades for 20+ years both in Wisconsin and North Carolina. It brings me great joy to work with our counselors to support teachers, students and families on their educational journeys. My Educational Journey

I graduated from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English.

I earned my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Wingate University in Wingate, NC.

I am Nationally Board Certified in Literacy for children ages 3-12.

I am a certified English as a Second Language teacher.

My Personal Journey

My husband, John, and I have been married 28 years, and we have two daughters. Micaela graduated from the University of South Carolina, and is now a surgical technologist at the main hospital in Charlotte, NC. Mallory graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and is now a teacher in Mobile, AL.
