- Graduate of Indiana University Bloomington (2013) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education with distinction.

- Moved to North Carolina in 2015 with my wife, Adrienne who works in the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources

- Recipient of the Chase C. Mooney Award from the Indiana University Department of History in 2013. This is awarded to "a junior or senior who shows outstanding commitment to the career of secondary teaching."
- My personal motto is "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift", which was spoken by Steve Prefontaine
- Our dogs, Edy and Beau are our best friends! I love to spend my free time hanging out with my dogs and Adrienne! I also enjoy all sports and outdoor activities, reading, and going to museums, zoos, and aquariums!
