American History II will guide students from the late nineteenth century through the early 21st century. Students will examine the political, economic, social and cultural development of the US from the end of the Reconstruction era to present times. Students will evaluate America’s economic and political rise in global affairs beginning in the late 19th century through the 20th century and into the early 21st century. Students will also study the progress of American society through the lens of immigration, urbanization, reform movements and race relations during the past 150 years of America’s history.
