Creating your schedule can be confusing the first time at the middle college, but we're here to help! Please make sure you complete all of the steps below in order to register for your classes.
***We'll be planning your schedule in your CPCC MyCollege account at the advising session, so you must have this set up before attending an advising session. There WILL NOT be time to do this at the advising session (or anyone there who can help you). If you have any issues doing this, please contact CPCC's IT Helpdesk at 704-330-5000 at least 24 hours before your advising session.***
You should have received a CPCC ID number after completing the CPCC application. If you have completed the application but do not know your ID number, please email navigate@cpcc.edu and let her know your name, birth date, and address so she can look it up for you. To set up your account:
Submit your CPCC ID number to us via this Google Form if you have not already
Activate your CPCC username and password here
Set up Duo authentication for your CPCC account here
Step-by-step directions here
It usually takes overnight for CPCC to activate your account once you have completed this step, so don't be alarmed if you are not able to log in immediately. Please save your CPCC ID number, username, and password. You will use it often and CPCC does not share this information with anyone else.
You will also have a CPCC email address that you can log in to using this username and password. This will be the email address CPCC uses to communicate with you, so please start checking it occasionally and at least once a day when school is in session. The email address will be CPCCusername@lab.cpcc.edu. You will check it here: https://www.cpcc.edu/current-students.
We will be offering small group advising sessions with our CPCC advisor and school counselor on April 14th and 15th. At this session, you will select both your high school and CPCC classes for the 2025-2026 school year. We will also explain the different associate degree options and a lot of information about the middle college. There are also several other resources throughout this site if you want more information before attending the advising session.
Due to space constraints, we ask that only the student and one parent or guardian attend the advising session (parent/guardian attendance is optional).

You will not be registered for CPCC classes when you leave this session! There will be a TBD date when students will be able to submit their registration- we are preparing you for that in the advising session.
The registration date for CPCC classes will be April 28th. It is strongly recommended that you submit your registration that day to ensure you get the courses you want.
At your advising session, we will set up your CPCC schedule and all you should need to do on registration day to complete the registration process is press "Register." Step-by-step instructions are provided below:
Log in to your CPCC MyCollege account with your CPCC username and password. You will need to do the Duo authentication process to log in.
Click on Student Planning.
Click on Go to Plan and Schedule.
Make sure your schedule shows Fall 2025 and press Register on the right side of the screen above your schedule.
Click the right arrow next to "Fall 2025" to change to your Spring 2026 schedule and click Register on the right side of the screen above your schedule.
Once you press register, your classes on both the fall and spring schedules should turn from yellow to green and instead of saying "Planned" should say "Registered, but not started" (or something close to that). At this point, you are done registering for classes. If you click on the printer icon on this page, you will get a good view of your CPCC schedule (your high school classes will not show on this schedule). Instructors and room numbers will be added before the class starts.
If there are any issues getting your registration through, there will be an error message in the upper right corner. Please email Ms. O'Herron: Megan.OHerron@cpcc.edu and let her know your name, CPCC ID number, and what the error message says so she can work with CPCC to get it through.
Please do not make changes to your class schedule without notifying Ms. Crews and Ms.O'Herron!
