About Me...

 Hi.  Thanks for visiting my webpage.  I am happy to be at Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School this year.  We are all growing together as a school family and I'm looking forward to working with the students, staff, and families at MLK.

I have worked for CMS for 20 years.  I began my education career as a media and technology assistant.  I returned to school and graduated from UNC-Greensboro with my MLIS in 2010.  My undergraduate degree is Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

My family includes my husband, David, and our three children.  Avery is a medical student at Columbia University and recently married Juliana, who teaches at a high school in NYC. Casey  graduated from University of Alabama  and now works at Bank of America. Casey recently married Nick and they live in Charlotte.  Emily recently completed her Bachelors in Environmental Science at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and is working with a water quality organization in Montana.
