Art Contests and Exhibits

Congratulations to third grade student Mayerlin Navarro Contreras!

Mayerlin's artwork was chosen to be on display at CMS 4th Annual Winter Art Exhibition! This is a juried exhibition displaying artwork of talented student artists from elementary, middle, and high schools in CMS.

Opening reception for student artists who have work on exhibit and their families takes place on December 18th. The exhibit will be open to the public soon after. Please be on the look out for information posted at our school highlighting the exhibition's details. So proud of our Mayerlin

Please visit our school to see students' artwork on display throughout the building! Every art project they complete will be on display throughout the school year.

Congratulations to Itzel Garcia Hernandez and Iliana Moreno Paz! Their artwork was chosen to represent our school at Charlotte's 61st Annual Festival In the Park event taking place in September 2025.

A photograph from one of our past Pumpkin Decorating Contests! Eleven years of pumpkin fun! Students and staff joined in on the creativity. Participation gifts were provided to students who entered the contest and winners received prize bags. 

We participate in several school district and community art exhibits throughout the school year and notify families with all relevant information when their child's artwork is on display.
