Hi all! My name is Abbey Kelly and this is my first year of teaching - I couldn't be more excited to spend it at Sharon Elementary with my new amazing students! I am from New Jersey, but my family moved to Chapel Hill in 2021! I graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I then spent an extra year at Baylor to earn my Master's degree in Educational Psychology. Sic 'em Bears!
The 2025-2026 school year was my first year as a teacher and my first year at Sharon! I had the most amazing year ever and I can't wait to be a SECOND YEAR TEACHER!
This is going to be such a FUN and GROWTH-FILLED year, and I am so excited to meet you all!
