Math Retest Policy

The retest policy will maximize the probability of a student obtaining subject mastery. Math I is a foundational subject for all high school math classes, and therefore, once a student begins to falter in their understanding, the subject becomes harder and harder. In order to retest students must complete test corrections after school, and attend tutoring at least 1 day prior to retesting. This opportunity is a privilege and is open to all students scoring below a 79% on the original test. If a student retakes a test, then the second grade is entered into powerschool even if it is lower than the orginal score. The maximum score that a student can score on the retest is 79%.
