Hello! This is my 15th year as a school counselor and I have spent my whole career at Mint Hill Middle. I am very proud to be part of the Miner family. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from North Carolina State University, go Pack! I then went on to complete a master's degree in school counseling from UNCC. I am married and we have two sons and a daughter. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, going to Charlotte FC games and working out. I look forward to working with you all this year!

I am originally from Virginia but have called Charlotte my home for 19 years now. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Old Dominion University and began my teaching career as a high school social studies teacher in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I then went on to complete my Master’s Degree in School Counseling at the University of Connecticut. Go UCONN!! My counseling career has included all grade levels, K-12. I have been at Mint Hill Middle for the last 15 years. My most important job, however, is that I am mom to 2 amazing daughters!! I am looking forward to a great year!
