Meet Nurse Hutchens!

Haley Hutchens, BSN, RN

Nurse Hutchens received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Fall 2020. She has been in the healthcare field since 2018, beginning as a certified nursing assistant in nursing homes and assisted living facilities before transitioning into her role as a registered nurse in 2021. This is Nurse Hutchens's first year as a school nurse and brings with her a diverse clinical background in neurology/stroke care, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), and neonatal intensive care. She is currently a member of the National Association of School Nurses and the School Nurse Association of North Carolina.

In her free time, Nurse Hutchens enjoys crocheting, knitting, and thrifting. She also enjoys spending time with her partner, Liz, and their cat, Brayden.
