MGySgt Seeley was born in Orlando, Florida and raised in the city of Eustis, Florida until his graduation from high school. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United State Marine Corps as a Motor Transport Operator and later changed his primary job to flying Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS); better known as drones. Over his military career of flying unmanned aircraft, he accumulated over 4000 total flight hours in five separate UAS airframes in both combat and non-combat missions. In 2013, he received his BA Degree in Political Science and Government from Ashford University, Iowa.
MGySgt Seeley served 30 years in the Marines and retired Nov 2024. Over his career he deployed in support of combat operations six times to Iraq, once to Afghanistan & once to the Philippines. He was able to travel to over 15 countries throughout his career. In his final 6 years of service, he worked in the Pentagon with senior leadership to reshape the future of the Marine Corps UAS employment capabilities.
MGySgt Seeley began his MCJROTC career in October of 2024. He is married to Megan Seeley a Charlotte area native. They have 6 children: Courtney 26, Derek 25, Cody 23, Kathryn 22, Bethany 17 & Joseph 13.
