Merancas Middle College High School prides itself on being a diverse group that comes together to form "the pack". We are excited that you are considering the middle college program to continue your 11th grade or 12th grade educational journey. This program affords students many opportunities outside of the traditional high school setting.

ADMISSIONS
Students are assigned to Merancas Middle College High School through the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Magnet/Student Assignment lottery. Students must first enroll with the district by the appropriate deadlines and then submit the online lottery application. Students must be rising juniors or seniors to be eligible for our school. Current immunizations are required for students to attend school.
LOTTERY PROCESS
Enrollment in Merancas MCHS is through the CMS Magnet Lottery Process ONLY. The CMS School Choice/Magnet Team handles the lottery process.

November 18, 2024 New student enrollment begins
November 18-December 20, 2024 Lottery application period. Last day to enter the 25-26 lottery is December 20.
