Library Media Program Mission

The mission of the library media program at Marie G. Davis is to support the school's curriculum and facilitate the integration of information literacy in providing life-long learning opportunities for the entire school community.

The media center is a critical factor in the academic foundation of the students at Marie G. Davis. The use of our resources is essential to providing the best possible education to our students.

The objectives of our Media Center are:

1. To provide opportunities for students to browse, explore, and utilize all resources of the media center
2. To provide students with assistance in resource-based learning assignments and activities
3. To provide students and teachers with an atmosphere conducive to active, constructive learning
4. To provide teachers with resources needed to supplement and support classroom instruction
