ABOUT MR. MARANCHELLO
I am very excited to return to Highland Creek Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year! I appreciate the opportunity to enrich the lives of all students through the Visual Arts. I am looking forward to a great year and have many wonderful art projects planned that I know you will enjoy!

I was born in Argentina and when I was in second grade, my family moved to the United States and made a home in Miami, Florida. Growing up in South Florida was fun and I loved spending time with my family and friends especially at the beach! As I was growing up, I enjoyed all of my classes at school, especially ART! Once I finished High School, I attended Florida International University where I graduated with a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Art Education. I taught art in Miami for seven years.

In 2006, I relocated to Charlotte and became a teacher with CMS. I taught ART at J.H. Gunn Elementary, Ridge Road Middle School and Highland Creek Elementary. I am married and have three energetic furry children. Kelly is a seven year old Golden Retrievers and Bosley and Charley Rose who are mini- Australian Shepards. They keep us busy! I'm very thankful for my great mentors and teachers who help me to become the art educator I am today.

My greatest inspiration and motivation over twenty four years teaching Art continues to be YOU - the students!
