Career Development

According to Balance Careers, Career Development is the process of self-knowledge, exploration, and decision-making that shapes your career. It requires successfully navigating your occupational options to choose and train for jobs that suit your personality, skills, and interests.

When someone pays careful attention to their career development, they identify their own strengths and blind spots, then work hard to improve their skills.

I am here to help the Levine Middle College High School students continue their career development process. It is my goal to ensure each of our students have options in their future plans. We may not all know what we want, some of us thought we knew what we wanted, but now are starting to think differently. All of that is fine, I just want to make sure that it is YOUR decision to do what you want. That means you must be prepared for different scenarios – having the right classes, and taking advantage of experiences through job shadowing and internships, college and career fairs.
