American History 1

American History 1 follows the North Carolina Standard Course of Study, which encourages the development of analytical and expressive thinking skills. Through the analysis of historic sources, interactive class discussions, and supplemental enrichment activities, students will be exposed to the stories, diverse perspectives, and varied impacts of the events of US History that culminated in the Civil War and its immediate aftermath.
