Are you looking for reliable resources? You have come to the right place! On this page you will find a variety of online databases that are available to you free of charge. All of these databases will provide you with reliable information throughout your research process! 

Research Sites: All links are also on the CMS Student Portal

One Access: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Charlotte-Meck Public Library have teamed up to provide ALL students and staff with a variety of online resources! Students now have access to all of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Library resources by logging in with their CMS student ID number and the pin is the last 4 of their ID number. 

NCEdCloud for Students: This will give you one sign on for Canvas, PowerSchool, Schoolnet, Follett Destiny (the new online library catalog). No need to login to each of these individually! (see Help Desk tab if you have login issues)

Google Scholar: An educational alternative to just using a Google search.  Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature.
