Logging into your Computer at Home
Shut down Chromebook before leaving school.
Students should open up the Chromebook lid and turn on the Chromebook.
Connect to your home Wi-Fi.
Students will see the CMS Launchpad login screen.
Click the username box and type in your student ID only.
Click the password box. Type in your LaunchPad password.
Click Sign In.
Type in your 6-digit PIN.
Students will be prompted to enter in their CMS email to pass through the Zscaler screen.
Students will type in studentID@student.cms.k12.nc.us
The Chromebook is now ready to use.
Reminder:
Chromebooks AND chargers will be distributed at the beginning of each school year and collected at the end of each school year.

Chromebook Damage Information
Students will be charged for any missing chargers or damaged/missing computers. The charges are as follows:
*Device was lost or stolen- $50
*Device damage- $15
*Lost/Damaged Charger- $10
*Miscellaneous or other charges (individual parts of device)- $5
Payments should be brought to Ms. DeWalt in the Library as soon as possible. We ask that payments are cash (exact change), money order, or checks made out to Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools
