Chef Mallow is a graduate of Central Piedmont Community College where she received a degree in Applied Science in Baking and Pastry Arts. She graduated top of her class and was the President of the Culinary Club and BPA Club. This allowed her to travel to different parts of Europe to further her training in Pastry. Since graduating, she has worked in numerous restaurants around the Charlotte area. She was then asked to teach Continuing Education at CPCC which she continues to do. It was there that she was given the opportunity to run a Baking Boot Camp with grades 9-12. This is when she knew she was meant to teach kids. She is honored to teach at Independence where her son attends and lives in the Mint Hill Community. Her mission is to make sure the students learn about the industry and make connections thru food.
