For the Fall semester, I teach three sections of American History I. I will have you either 1st. 2nd, or 4th period.

American History I starts with the exploration of the Western World and the lives of Native Americans. The end of this course will be Westward Expansion with the cowboys and gold hunters. The following are all of the Units we will be covering.

• Unit 2: 1754-1789 Revolution to Constitution
• Unit 3: 1789-1815 A New Nation
• Unit 4: 1800-1850 Sectionalism and Nationalism
• Unit 5: 1800-1850 Expansion and Reform
• Unit 6: 1850-1877 The American Civil War and Reconstruction
• Unit 7: 1865-1877 Early American West
