Service Requirements

Community Service @ Hopewell High School

Mid - year Graduates (January 2026) 

In order to earn a community service cord:

• Must complete 100 hours of community service between August 1, 2022 & January 9, 2026.

• All hours & supporting documentation must be Submitted by 11:59 on January 9, 2026.

• For each Community service event completed the student must complete the form and provide a signed document from the event supervisor. The document must include: start and end time of the service, what activities the student completed, and event supervisor's signature, email address and phone number. The event supervisor cannot be a relative of the student.

End of year Graduates (June 2026) 

In order to earn a community service cord:

• Must complete 100 hours of community service between August 1, 2022 & May 1, 2026.

• All hours & supporting documentation must be Submitted by 11:59 on May 1, 2026.

• For each Community service even completed the student must complete the form and provide a signed document from the event supervisor. The document must include: start and end time of the service, what activities the student completed, and event supervisor's signature, email address and phone number. The event supervisor cannot be a relative of the student.

Mid-year Graduates (June 2027) 

In order to earn a community service cord:

• Must complete 100 hours of community service between August 1, 2023 & January 9, 2027.

• All hours & supporting documentation must be Submitted by 11:59 on January 9, 2027.

• For each Community service even completed the student must complete the form and provide a signed document from the event supervisor. The document must include: start and end time of the service, what activities the student completed, and event supervisor's signature, email address and phone number. The event supervisor cannot be a relative of the student.
