Welcome to Hawthorne Academy.
Although I have lived in Charlotte for many years and consider myself a Charlottean, I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. I have been an educator for many years. Prior to coming to Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, I worked for Union County Public Schools as a teacher and Career Development Coordinator at Sun Valley High School and Cuthbertson High School.
In my role as a Career Development Coordinator, I will:
* Serve as your connection to Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) and the Career and College Promise Program.
* Serve as your connection to Mayor's Youth Employment Program, Meck Pathways, NOVANT Bridges to HealthCare, Atrium Rise to Success, and PATCH Program
* Help you find volunteer opportunities, additional programs to participate in outside of school
