Bonjour! Sorry I am just now getting to email everyone for the first time this year. We have had a busy start to the year. The Quarterly will be October 24 for A day and October 25 for B day (I honestly can’t believe it’s already time to take the quarterly!).
Here are the topics that will be on the quarterly as well as links to helpful study sets.
HOMEWORK: I normally only assign homework when students don’t complete classwork, and because everyone finishes their work at different paces, some students may have had homework several times and some may not have had French homework at all. Learning a language is all about repetition though, so it is important that your student sets aside a bit of time each day to review; I suggest starting a nightly habit of 10-15 minutes. Have your student set a timer and the time will fly (they may even want to continue studying). Their priorities should be:
Checking Grades: It has been a busy start The best tools for your student are his/her planner and powerschool. They should record their homework or topics to study for all of their classes (if they ever forget for French, they can go on google classroom or quizlet and they will know exactly what to study). I also suggest students check their grades at least once a week to see if anything is missing, make sure everything looks correct, and make a plan!
Classroom needs: I need paper towel and clorox wipes to help keep my room germ free!
