Graduation requirements depend on the year you first entered high school. Reference the list for the year you first entered 9th grade, no matter what high school you attended.Â
The minimum graduation requirements for high school may not meet college admission requirements to some colleges or universities. Be sure to do your research. At a minimum, students planning to go to a 4-year college after high school should take at least two levels of the same World Language and a 4th math that aligns with their post-high-school plans.Â
Students seeking to perform at their best should consider college-level courses and working toward a endorsements. Information about these two enriching opportunities can be found on this webpage.
College and Career Readiness begins in middle school and continues in high school. Choose courses that will help you explore and develop your career interests and skills for future work success. A Career Pathway is not required for graduation, but it is highly recommended. 9th & 10th Graders begin their Career Pathways. 11th & 12th Graders continue Career Pathways they began when they were freshmen or sophomores. Some students choose to explore the Visual Arts, Performing Arts, ROTC and other electives in addition to or instead of CTE Career Pathway courses.
