About Mrs. Pova:

I was born and raised in Monroe, NC. I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I received a Bachelors degree in History. This will be my sixth year in education and my second year teaching at Independence High School. My favorite place to visit is the Mountains and my favorite season is Fall. I am also a huge Carolina Panthers and Tar Heels Fan!
