Please click on the iPad or here to see directions on how to Reset iPads to be sure that they are working properly at home. It will suggest that you click on Hot Spot for Wifi, but you will click on your home network's Wifi.
Click HERE to see a video about how to Authorize Google Drive on an iPad in Canvas. You must login through the Safari app to your NC Ed Cloud account to be able to enable Google Drive within Canvas Settings. You will be prompted to login to your K-2 child's CMS Google Account as follows:

Students who login to their CMS Chromebooks will have to go through the ZScaler Authentication process which allows CMS to filter websites every 7 days. Here is a video with the new and simpler directions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRAyXhjJwyc&feature=youtu.be
Students can enter their CMS Google Credentials of StudentID@student.cms.k12.nc.us to enter ZScaler when prompted after they type their initial CMS Credentials and password. They should no longer have to enter their Birthdate as ZScaler password. The computer will grab the CMS Google Password that they already entered and get them through the ZScaler Filtering Process.
You can also use the other ways to login to ZScaler listed below which we have used from March - September of 2020, but the new way is much quicker.

NOTE about Dreambox on iPads for K-2: Do not click on the Dreambox app. Instead login to Dreambox through NC Ed Cloud. If ever the links for Dreambox at the CMS Student Portal do not allow you to login to NC EdCloud as usual, you can still login but first type this address and login with your Student Id and Password: my.ncedcloud.org You will need to click on the blue blox with white C known as "Clever" to get to Dreambox for Grades K-2 and not go through the Dreambox app on iPads.
