My name is Temeia Williams. I am originally from Michigan but raised in Richmond, Virginia. Despite being raised in Richmond, I still consider myself a Michigander. Growing up in Richmond, I attended Henrico County Public Schools and later graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in English Literature (Go RAMS). After graduating from VCU, I received my teacher certification from Virginia Union University. I have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from UNCC along with my school administration licensure. I am a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
I have two daughters, Gabby and Gia and a puppy named Coco.
Before relocating to Charlotte, I taught Language Arts for seven years at Richmond Community High School in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to that, I taught for several years at various schools in the district.
This is my second year at Community House Middle School and I’m thrilled to be a part of the amazing 8th grade team! Go Mountaineers. Prior to becoming a Cavalier, I taught Honors English I and Honors English II at South Mecklenburg High School for five years.
I am happy to be coaching the cheer team this year. Let's Go Cavs!
Aside from teaching, I enjoy taking long walks, roller skating and spending quality family time with my family.
