Meet the Counselors

Jessica Ott

Ms. Ott has been a part of the ELE family since 2014.  She earned her Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech in Sociology, with minors in Psychology and Leadership and Social Change.  Ms. Ott earned her Master's degree in School Counseling from Appalachian State University.  Her entire school counseling career has been at Elizabeth Lane!

Ms. Ott lives in Matthews with her dog Harper and baby girl Tallulah.  In her free time away from school, she enjoys crafting and DIY, and spending time with friends around Matthews/Charlotte.

Ms. Ott's biggest wish for students is that they find someone to connect with at school, and find something they can pursue with passion!

Fallon Moretz 

Mrs. Moretz is entering her 17th year as a school counselor in CMS and third year at ELE. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Mrs. Moretz then earned her Master’s degree from Appalachian State University in School Counseling with a concentration in Expressive Arts. 

Mrs. Moretz lives in Waxhaw, NC with her husband Clay, two kids Ellie (7) and Jonas (4) and sweet dog Maggie. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family/friends being outside, going to the gym and reading.

Mrs. Moretz is passionate about supporting kids and building relationships with them and their families.
