The EC Parent Advisory Council (ECPAC) is managed by parents who are concerned about the special needs of children in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. The ECPAC is comprised of parents, foster parents, surrogate parents, grandparents or other legal representatives of a child, currently or previously enrolled in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, with a special need, disability or handicap.

- Advise the school district on matters that pertain to the education and safety of students with disabilities
- Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the school district’s special education programs
- Increase community awareness to encourage understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of children with special needs
- Establish a network of support between parents with similar needs
ECPAC Meetings are held every 1st Wednesday from September - June:

- All meetings are open to the public and held at the The Atrium Corporate Center located at 4421 Stuart Andrew Blvd, Charlotte, NC, 28217.
- Meetings begin at 545pm - 745pm.
- The first 30 minutes will be available for public comments. To sign up, please submit information by noon, one day prior to the meeting, via email to: CMSECPAC@gmail.com.
