Summer Reading 2020-21 9th Grade.pdf
AP Literature & Composition
AP Literature & Composition
There is no required summer reading for AP Literature & Composition for the 2020-2021 school year. However, if you're able, I suggest the following titles:
- How to Read Literature Like a Professor - by Thomas C. Foster (will we review these concepts at the beginning of the course)
- Mythology - by Edith Hamilton (excellent, succinct resource for major Greek and Roman mythology that are most commonly alluded to in literature)
- Invisible Man - by Ralph Ellison (it's also listed for the 12th grade suggested summer reading list)
- Wuthering Heights - by Emily Bronte (try a Victorian piece)
