Class Expectations

CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

• Come to class with an open mind ready to learn new things
• Be prepared with dance attire and dance supplies
• Be polite: Disrespect to the teacher or put downs of fellow students will not be tolerated.
• PARTICIPATION is a MUST! Taking part in the activities is a major part of your grade; students need to have a valid, written reason to be excused from class.
• Dance is EXPLORATION, DO THE BEST YOU CAN !!!!!!!

Grading Scale

A= 90-100%

B= 80-89%

C= 70-79%

D= 60-69%

F= Below 60%

Daily Participation, Prepared for Class, Informal Assignments, Homework= 35%

Dance Performances, Movement Performances Test, Written Test and other Formal Assignments = 65%
