I love to READ!!

I completed my Summer Break at CML with 87 hours

I like to read magazines on my iPad

I like to read nonfiction and biographies

I have 2 cats, Tyger and Chloe

I used to work at the NC Zoological Park

I have one daughter and she is fluent in German

I like to hike in the NC mountains

I like to listen to music on my iPod and attend live Jazz concerts

I read and listen to more than one book at a time

I have been a teacher for more than 20 years

I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and proud to be a working woman

I am the wife of a man who is a role model for honesty and hard work

I am the mother of an independent, brave, and smart young lady who is finding her way in the world and doing a brilliant job (also a former German Immersion student)

I am the daughter of a man who modeled how to be a fair, smart, and compassionate citizen, I miss him everyday.

I am the daughter of a woman who has spent her life dedicated to the arts and to helping others live a better life, she is now 92 years old and going strong

I am the sister of a man who is so smart he has trouble expressing himself but he is kind and compassinate to all

I am the aunt of 2 beautiful girls and one athletic boy, now all grown and living for themselves. I am reliving life through their eyes

I am a teacher librarian at a school that celebrates diversity in oh so many ways and is without a doubt the most amazing place to work

I am a former science teacher who will always look at the world as a scientist should. I am forever curious and plan to never stop learning new things. I travel whenever I can and went to see the Solar Eclipse in Totality (2017) in SC

I am passionate about animals and their behavior. I hope to spend more time travelling and visiting as many zoos and aquariums as I can along the way

I am a reader who devours all formats (hardcover, kindle, iPad, audiobooks, ebooks, newspapers, magazines) and craves information for education and enjoyment

I am a bicycle rider and I now have an eBicycle (to go along with the ebooks) I like to ride!

I am a hiker who loves to visit the North Carolina mountains. The world always seems better when you are standing at the top of a mountain

I am hoping that the world my students get to live in is a world full of people who respect one another and who think that everyone has the right to their own opinions
