✍🏼 ACCOMMODATION REQUEST
for
PSAT, SAT, AP, PACT, ACT
Students seeking accommodations for the PSAT, SAT, AP Exams, or ACT must receive approval from the testing company (College Board or ACT). Although a student may have accommodations through an IEP or 504 plan at school, those accommodations are not automatically approved for national exams. The testing company (College Board or ACT) reviews each request and makes the final determination.
(PSAT, SAT, & AP)
Parents/guardians and/or students must download and complete the "Consent Form for Accommodation Requests" and submit the completed form to Ms. Jones by August 13, 2026.
Once the consent form has been received, Ms. Jones will submit the accommodation request through the College Board's online system and will notify families when a decision has been received.
Accommodations approved by the College Board will apply to all College Board assessments, including the PSAT, SAT, and AP Exams, throughout the student's high school career, provided the student's IEP or 504 Plan remains active and continues to support the approved accommodations.
Please note that accommodation review and approval may take up to seven weeks. Families are encouraged to plan ahead and review accommodation request deadlines for each assessment on the College Board website to ensure requests are submitted to Ms. Jones on time.
PACT & ACT
Parents/guardians and/or students must visit the ACT website, download the "Consent to Release Information to ACT" form, and submit the completed form to Ms. Jones by August 20, 2026. Please be sure to sign the form and include the ACT test date before submission.
Once the form has been received, Ms. Jones will submit the accommodation request through ACT and notify families when a decision has been made.
Students who receive ACT accommodation approval must notify Ms. Jones each time they register for a future ACT administration so that their accommodations can be applied to the new test date.
Please note that accommodation requests may take up to seven weeks to process. Families are encouraged to plan ahead and submit all required documentation well before registration deadlines.
