TEST DAY INFORMATION

ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

ARRIVAL

• Students may not enter the building before 6:45 AM

• Student Drop off is in the FRONT of the building. When parents enter the main entrance driveway, they will turn to the right and take the first left for the front sidewalk.  

• There will be staff members to guide traffic and students.  See map below .  

• Students will walk through the Evolv body scanners when they enter the building.  The scanners are a weapon detection system.  

• Students do not need book bags.

• Students should bring cell phones to contact parents after testing 

DISMISSAL

• The exam administration time is approximately:

  • One test: 90 minutes

  • One test with accommodation: 135 minutes

  • Two tests: 180 minutes

  • Two tests with accommodation: 225-270 minutes

• Student Pick up is in the front (DIFFERENT FROM LAST YEAR) of the building.  

• Please use the Nations Fords Elementary School entrance on Nations Fords Road.  See map below

WHAT TO BRING

CHROMEBOOKS FOR EOC & EOG EXAMS

• DO NOT bring Chromebooks to EOC and EOG Exams.  Chromebooks will be provided.

CHROMEBOOKS FOR BENCHMARK/MIDTERMS/IREADY

• DO bring your FULLY CHARGED Chromebook and charger.

• DO bring your headphones 

OTHER REQUIRED ITEMS

• All High School: Breakfast (if you do not want school meals)

• All Middle School & HS PM Busriders: Breakfast & Lunch (if you do not want school meals)

• Water bottle

• Sweater/Sweatshirt

OPTIONAL

• A pencil/pen

• An external mouse if you use one

EXAM ADMINISTRATION

• Exams will begin at 7:30 AM

• Students will be greeted upon arrival by a CMVS staff member and directed to their testing room.

• All IEP, 504, and ELL testing accommodations will be provided. 

• Students who are completing two exams will complete both exams on the same day. This will ext

• Students will be dismissed when ALL students in their testing room have completed testing. 

• The exam administration time is approximately:

  • One test: 2 hours

  • One test with accommodation: 2.5 hours

  • Two tests: 4 hours

  • Two tests with accommodation: 4 - 5 hours

MAKE-UP TESTING

Make-ups exams are for documented emergencies only!!  

Please email the appropriate testing contact if you need to schedule a make-up exam.

Please be advised that make-up testing will have larger test settings with multiple grade levels testing in the same space due to limited staffing.  The most optimal test setting for students is the scheduled testing date.
