Partner Assisted Scanning (PAS) is a way to provide communication opportunities for students with communication difficulties and can be incorporated anywhere. This technique provides students with visual and/or verbal choices/messages in a sequential order. The student indicates a choice by an agreed upon means (vocalization, arm movement, facial expression, switch activation, etc.).
