Represent and solve multiplication and division problems using relationships and multiplication and division properties to solve within 100. Students will also complete two-step word problems using addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Students will interpret patterns on a hundreds board and multiplication board to understand the relationship across operations. More about the OA standard can be found here.
Use place value and properties of operations to add and subtract multi-digit numbers. More about the NBT standard can be found here.
Students begin to understand fractions as numbers. Students interpret fractions with denominators including 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8. More information on the NF standard can be found here.
