About Me

Hi there. I am Mr. Ciambrone and this is my 4th year teaching at Piedmont IB Middle School. I was born and raised in the Keystone State of Pennsylvania before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina after graduating from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2015. In my spare time, I am usually attending auto racing events up and down the East Coast. I enjoy anything with wheels and an engine and have chosen Charlotte as my home, partially because it is a major hub of the auto racing community.

In addition to teaching 7th grade science, I coach of our schools Science Olympiad Team. Our Science Olympiad team is one of the best in the country, winning our state competition 5 years in a row and placing 6th overall at the National Competition this past year. I work to incorporate the same principles we use on our team within my classroom. This includes digging deep into content and analyzing real time results from student run science experiments.
