Organized in 2017, Welcome Home’s main purpose is to serve the newcomers and neighbors of our community - helping families rebuild lives they've left behind. The community-driven project does not limit or restrict aid to refugees based on religious or ethnic background. Currently, we serve refugees from Afghanistan, Syria and Myanmar. Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte

We are a non-profit social service organization following the teachings of the Catholic Church. CRRA provides resettlement services to refugees and asylees who are escaping violence, persecution, and repression. At CRRA we embrace refugees who arrive in Charlotte, recognizing their troubling experiences, trying to ease their transition into a new country, and respecting their need to remember where they came from. Veteran's Bridge Home

A Carolinas-based nonprofit organization bridging the gap between Veterans and their community. Transition can be a tricky time, and Veteran's Bridge home helps you get through it with a strong support system. Veteran's Bridge Home works with local non profits and veteran and non veterans alike to match volunteers to help provide hot meals for our newly arriving Afghan Allies as well as providing groceries for their families. Latin American Coalition

The Latin American Coalition (La Coalición), is one of the oldest pro-immigrant non-profit organizations in Charlotte. La Coalición builds a community of Latin Americans, immigrants, and allies while promoting full and equal participation of all people in the civic, economic, and cultural life of North Carolina through education, celebration, and advocacy. Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina

Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHMETROLINA) strives through education, advocacy, and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food. SHMETROLINA has been in existence since 1981.

We provide a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in need. We provide training, technical assistance and hunger education to our partner agencies. Click here to contact.
