BestColleges Scholarship for Black Women in STEM
BestColleges is excited to announce our newest scholarship opportunity - The 2nd annual BestColleges Scholarship for Black Women in STEM. As you may know, Black women remain underrepresented in STEM fields, despite the growing demand for talent in these industries. This year, we'll be giving away five $6,000 scholarships to Black women who are currently pursuing careers in STEM.
As of March 15th, our scholarship is open to Black women who are currently enrolled or intend to enroll in a degree program in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.

Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance Scholarship. Senior who has battled cancer at any time in their life, or those that have a sibling, parent, immediate family member, or close friend that has or is battling cancer. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher to apply. Due March 31, 2025.

Hagan Scholarship. Senior with 3.75+ GPA, top 20% of graduating class, has worked over last 12 months, plans to attend four-year college, & FAFSA EFC can't exceed $6,500. Due December 1, 2024.
United States Bowling Congress Gift for Life Scholarship. Non-professional USBC member, in high school, with 2.5 GPA or higher. Due December 1, 2024.
Military Child of the Year Award. Students between the ages of 13 and 18, at the time of nomination, and must be a legal military dependent. Due December 2, 2024.
Point Foundation Scholarship. Senior attending a four-year college, identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community, has strong academics and financial need. Due December 5, 2024.
Dirk Derrick Car & Truck Accident Injury Scholarship. Senior that has had their life altered due to an injury from a car or truck accident (their own, that of a loved one, or an influential individual). Due December 15, 2024.
