Curriculum

Please feel free to check this website periodically for changes

and insight into what we are learning.

The standards and objectives that your child is learning at school come from the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and the North Carolina Essential Standards (NCES). These standards define what students should know and be able to do in order to be college and career-ready. In addition to these standards, English language learner students are also learning the WIDA Standards. The WIDA English Language Development (ELD) Standards represent the social, instructional, and academic language that students need in order to engage with peers, educators, and the curriculum in schools.
