Users can open and read books on any device (apps are available in Google Play and Apple Apps Store).
Google Scholar is a search engine which searches for physical and digital copies of scholarly articles and information. Google Scholar returns results as articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. “Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research.” It has built in citation.

Open a new Google Doc
Go to Tools and select Explore
Now you have access to Google from within your Google Doc without having to open a new tab
Enter your search terms and/or key words in the Search bar
Hover over the website results list where you can preview, add the website link directly to your Google Drive, or cite the website in MLA7 format
Google Explore is designed to "filter out" some non-academic results you may see in regular Google
