Families who have flexible working arrangements are encouraged to stay at home with their children. Workers who need care may call 1-888-600-1685 to receive information about local options for children from infants through age 12. The hotline is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Crisis Assistance Ministry - Effective week of 3/24, the Crisis Assistance facility is CLOSED. However during the COVID-19 crisis they are still assisting families of need please go to their website for more information.

Cardinal Innovations Healthcare - Search for free or low cost services for housing, food, transportation, job training, and more.
Aunt Bertha: Social Care Network that will help you search for free or reduced cost services like medical care, food, job training, and more.
United Way: dial 211 from the phone- attendant will help locate resources by area you live in.

No Kid Hungry NC - Parents who need food assistance for their children can text FOODNC to 877-877 to locate nearby free meal sites. The texting service is also available in Spanish by texting COMIDA to 877-877.The interactive map can be viewed at the link above and is updated daily.

Senior citizens can be signed up for preference - call 704-398-3244 and a meal will be reserved
