School Year 2026-2027
Students who do not fill out a registration card or enter their classes in Infinite Campus by the deadline will have their courses chosen for them by a counselor and may lose the opportunity to change their schedule at the beginning of the school year.
December 1st- Start Course Registration for 2026-27 school year
Students will be in homeroom the week of December 1st to December 5th. All course registration information will be available here on our website. A paper copy of the registration card will be provided to students, along with their unofficial transcript. Transcripts and course cards will be distributed Dec. 1st .
Counselors will create a video going over the course registration process and other information to help students select their classes. Each grade level will have their own video. Students will watch these in homeroom.
Students will take this information home and fill out the registration card.
December 3rd- Virtual Parent Registration Help Desk

December 3th - 5th - Enter courses in Infinite Campus Course Plan
During homeroom students will enter 8 classes in Infinite Campus & 4 alternates.
All school years need to be completed in the Infinite Campus Course Plan. However only the courses for next year will get locked once the student has their one on one meeting with their counselor.
Students will turn in their registration card to their homeroom teacher.
Any changes can be made during the student counselor meeting. After the meeting classes for the 26-27 school year will be locked in.
Parents should be able to see the Academic plan/course plan in their Infinite Campus account.
December 4th- AP Info Night 6-7 Butler Media Center
If you need more information about AP classes offered at Butler please attend the AP night. For both students and parents.
December 8th- Student Counselor Meetings for 11th grade
Counselors will start meeting with 11th grade students during 1st, 2nd, and 4th block. A list will be shared with teachers. Students will need to check their email, an email will be sent out days before to let students know which day and period to come down to our student services office.
Any rising senior requesting early release will need to have their permission form ready. Rising seniors requesting midyear graduation will need to fill out a contract during this meeting, the contract will be sent home for a parent/guardian signature.
December 15th - Student Counselor Meetings for 10th grade
January 6th - Student Counselor Meetings for 9th grade
