The AVID Site Team

The VHS AVID Site Team meets monthly to plan actionable steps toward AVID school-wide implementation. In addition, the site team collects the required evidence to continually improve our certified status. The site team includes educators from administration, support, and instruction. Each educator has access to on-going professional development at the district level and through AVID Central. Members of the site team share what is learned with VHS staff through workshops and demonstrations. Our goal is simple - to provide ALL VHS students with access to rigorous instruction, ensuring college and career readiness.
