Thank you for visiting the Ardrey Kell Sciences page. Our mission is to provide the best possible science experience through hands-on learning, labs, interactive reading, and academic conversations. The goal of each science teacher is to build lasting relationships with our students while preparing them for college and future careers.
Science courses at AK are rigorous, engaging, and relevant to providing a college and career ready graduate. It is our goal that all students reach proficiency in all required science courses. Additional support and resources are provided for all courses. Students have the opportunity for after school tutoring, enrichment, and acceleration.
Three Science credits which shall be:

Biology
Earth/Environmental Science
Biology [Standard, Honors, AP]
Physical Science
Chemistry [Standard, Honors, AP]
Earth/Enviornmental Science [Standard, Honors, AP]
Physics [Honors, AP]
Marine Science
Anatomy
Forensics
Biology II
Biology is a state tested course. At the end of the year, all students enrolled in Biology will take the Biology End of Course final exams. All final exams count as a percentage of the overall course grade for students. To have a successful final course grade, students must also do well on final exams.
