Student Password Update

• Student passwords for both CMS Launchpad and NCEdCloud accounts will be reset to a generic password and those patterns are listed below. Upon first login, students will be required to choose a new unique password. Passwords must be 13 characters and include an upper case letter, lower case letter and number OR special character. Passwords cannot include student ID, name, or birthday or be previously used passwords.

• NCEdCloud: Cms600[graduation year]

  • Ex. Cms6002031

• CMS Launchpad: PwyyyymmddCMS

  • yyyy is the student's 4 digit birth year, mm is their two digit birth month, and dd is their two digit birth day

  • Ex: If the student's birthday is January 2, 2013

    • Pw20130102CMS

  • CMS LaunchPad MFA pins will need to be set after logging in and may be reset to a previously used number
